On May 1, at the University “Turan” a regional qualifying round will be held among the Kazakhstan teams of the International IT-contest “TECHNOVATION Challenge”.
“Technovation Challenge” is an international social, gender program aimed at developing IT and entrepreneurial skills among girls from 10 to 18 years old. Schoolchildren around the world (in 78 countries) develop their own mobile applications aimed at solving socially significant problems in society. Finalists of the international contest will compete in the finals in August in San Francisco for the main prize – $ 10,000.
During the event you will be able to get acquainted with the prototypes of mobile applications of Kazakhstan teams at the exhibition from 10.00 to 11.30, and after 13.00 the presentations of each of the teams of their mobile products will start.
The charitable foundation “ZHANARTU” is the general partner of the regional competition in Kazakhstan. Also we were supported by U.S. Consulate Almaty, TURAN University, Love to Сode School of Programming and scientific and entertainment magazine OYLA.
The event will be attended by 200 people from Almaty and other cities of Kazakhstan (Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kustanay, Atyrau, Shymkent, Taraz)
